**In order to support as many individuals in Snohomish County as we can, Individuals are eligible to receive grant funds from The Arc of Snohomish County once every 2 years.

Categories

Assistive Technology Grant

The Arc of Snohomish County, & the Wockner Foundation, have collaborated to distribute support funds to qualified individuals with developmental disabilities. The Arc of Snohomish County will distribute funds to qualified individuals with developmental disabilities. The purpose of the individual grant funding is to provide communication/speech output devices to individuals that do not have other means by which to purchase these devices and software necessary to utilize these devices.

Community Access Fund

The Arc of Snohomish County, Greater Everett Community Foundation, & Coastal Community Bank have collaborated to distribute support funds to qualified individuals with developmental disabilities. The purpose of the individual grant funding is to provide individuals with developmental disabilities access to inclusive opportunities in their communities.

Community Living Fund

The Arc of Snohomish County and Greater Everett Community Foundation have collaborated to distribute support funds to qualified individuals with developmental disabilities. The purpose of the individual grant funding is to reduce economic or social barriers that can inhibit transitioning or maintaining a community-based quality of life.

Community Living Fund Grant Criteria & Guidelines 2013 Draft

The Community Living Fund gives special attention to requests that assist individuals with developmental disabilities transition into community housing and for minor home improvements for ease of mobility.

 

The Community Living Fund does not consider grant proposals for personal needs or services covered by entitlement programs or within an individual’s financial means.
